Heading
out of Liberty Square toward the hub in front of
Cinderella's Castle,
there's a bridge over the moat and an easy to miss sign saying that this
is a good spot to take a photo. It's an especially good photo spot
around dusk with the sunset at your back. With the water in the
foreground, this might be the best photo spot of all. The front of the
Castle is on your right, Fantasyland is to your left.
Cinderella's Castle
at night. No matter how excited you are about being at Walt Disney World,
always save some energy for being there at night. All the parks are
as
beautiful at night as during the day. Many say it is even more
beautiful. Disney knows how to do it.
Yeah,
you think you're excited after you've run up Main Street U.S.A. and beat
your old high school track record so you could get into the heart of the
Magic Kingdom. When you arrive near the foot of the castle where paths
lead off in all directions to all sorts of magic lands, you meet this
statue. The happiest statue on earth it is, Walt and Mickey hand in
hand, standing there to greet you. There's a plaque on the statue aptly
entitled Partners. Can someone remind me of the
rest of what's on there? I want to think it has the It all started
with a mouse quote but I don't think that's right.

Cinderella's castle is directly tied into
Fantasyland, giving Fantasyland the look of a festive medieval
tourney. Most of its ride entrances are like tents against the Castle's
walls.
