Welcome aboard Spaceship Earth. Journey with us now to the dawn of recorded time as we explore the amazing story of human communication." As you rise higher and higher, all you can see are those soft colors ahead. Your senses tell you that the higher you go, the more you travel back in time. Higher and higher, and yet still higher. At last, your car level's itself and you begin your journey that will forever change your thoughts on human communication.
Spaceship Earth is a wonderful and educational attraction at Walt Disney World's Epcot. As the centerpiece of the park, many guests choose this as their first stop. Now, don't you worry your little head, the vehicles on this ride are in continuing motion. This means that the lines will never be longer than 15 to 25 minutes on the most crowded days. The actual line may look long, but it is always moving. Quite a nice bonus for such a great ride. The usual case for this ride is that the line is shorter than the attraction itself. Quite nice indeed!
Storyline: There really is no storyline for this attraction. Basically, your traveling through time viewing the progress of human communication. This is a very educational attraction. WARNING: Some may find this attraction boring. It's about the farthest thing away from a thrill ride. Let this be known!
Vehicles: can be uncomfortable; It is a continuing train of compartments. Each one fits four people. There is no padding on the seating and no seatbelts. This is a slow moving attraction so there is no use for seatbelts. The vehicles are the most disappointing thing about this ride. Often, you'll find that your vehicle will stop half way through the ride because someone could not get on right. Throughout the experience, a narration is brought forth by the speakers located directly behind your head. So, about everyone can hear.
Experience: Is quite nice; You learn alot and it is a nice calm place to rest after all those thrilling rides. Now, I love thrilling rides. In fact, my favorite ride at Disney World is Tower of Terror. But, it's still nice to get some education from what you hear. Therefore, I thought this to be a very enjoyable experience. Yay!!!
Stats: The ride is about 15 to 25 minutes long and has a very nice air conditioning system. The musical score is brilliant and gives the experience a much better feel. Also, if you pay attention, smells are located all throughout the "EARTH."

Overall: This attraction pleased me and I'm willing to give it 5 stars. It would have been four but the brilliant score and wonderful smells gave it a nice touch. So, there you have it...
